National Exhibition of Crafts — Oreshak

Oreshak is known across Bulgaria for its National Exhibition of Crafts and Arts — the only one of its kind in the country. Established in 1971, it continues a centuries-old tradition: organised craft fairs near Troyan Monastery date back to the 18th century.
The complex sits in a beautiful park of around 50 decares and houses nine halls with a total area of over 4,000 m². It gathers unique pieces made by master craftsmen from every ethnographic region of Bulgaria — pottery, wood carving, weaving, coppersmithing, icon painting and more.
In the warmer months the exhibition comes alive with fairs and festivals where you can watch the masters at work and take home an authentic souvenir. It's just a few minutes from TanGenta.
